TerroRaze is a four-piece death metal band, writing their own music and lyrics revolving around a political cybernetic apocalypse. Based in the Western Cape, the band officially started on 21 May 2022 and the members have been involved in the music scene for many years.

Meet the band

Jo Marie, vocalist:

Having done vocals for Swedish band Testosteruins with an EP in 2019; and full album “Repulsive Judgment” for Junkyard Lipstick in 2016 as well as live tribute shows with Bloodbarf, her knowledge of the metal industry makes her a valuable addition to the band.

Christian, guitarist:

During the past 10 years, Christian played for Melanolik, Twisted Intent and Beyond Sanity and his lyrics prove that he challenges what society has been brainwashed to believe. He wrote “Frozen Hell,” the band’s title track of their debut album.

Mauritz, drummer:

Previously known as the drummer of Southern Death Culture, Mauritz accepted the 300bpm challenge to make this one of his best songs. He has currently been drumming for 10 years.

Hein, bassist:

The veteran of the band used to play for amongst others, Arm to Disarm and Nerve Zero; and has been in bands for the past 30 years. As a lyricist and composer, his out-of-the-box thinking is well displayed in “Pleasure Dome” which was recently released.
